It’s time for A-League fireworks, and I don’t mean flares
Monday October 15, 2018

The previews have been written and the squads assembled. The A-League season launches into action on Friday. It should be the final incarnation of the ten-team competition. An expansion decision is due momentarily, unless of course the recent disturbances to and redirection of the FFA board bring about a serious case of cold feet. Hopefully, […]

Kentucky’s Baseball Season is Over
Saturday May 18, 2019

UKathletics Heading into today’s action, Kentucky was locked in a three-way tie with Alabama and South Carolina. One of the two scenarios Kentucky needed to avoid was an Alabama loss and a South Carolina win. Unfortunately, that scenario has happened as both games have just gone final. Leonard, ranked on 247 Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 49 offensive guard, will focus on Kentucky, Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Miami, UCF, Louisville, West Virginia, and Washington State during the home stretch of his recruitment.
The next step for the 6-foot-2, 320-pound prospect will be to finish out his official visits in the next month and a half before making a decision. He already has one scheduled to Georgia Tech next week, Kentucky from June 5-7, and he is also putting together an official to Tennessee for June, as well. He last visited Florida State in April.
In an interview with 247 Sports, Leonard says that he wants to get this decision behind him so he can focus on his senior year. Once he makes his announcement, his recruitment is over.
“Just wanted to be done with this recruiting stuff before my senior season started and my moms birthday happened to fall early in the dead period so it worked out well,” he said. “I don’t wanna be stressed with the recruiting process, school, and trying to win a state championship, so this time when it’s done it’s done.”
If you ask Kentucky offensive line commit John Young, he’s pretty confident in the Wildcats coming out on top.

While SA don’t struggle against slow bowlers quite to the same extent as Australia, their batsmen clearly prefer pace on the ball, as would be expected given their upbringing on fast, […]
